George Mueller, Orphanages Built by Prayer:

“The children are dressed and ready for

school. But there is no food for them to eat,”

the housemother of the orphanage informed

George Mueller. George asked her to take the

300 children into the dining room and have

them sit at the tables. He thanked God for the

food and waited. George knew God would

provide food for the children as he always

did. Within minutes, a baker knocked on the

door. “Mr. Mueller,” he said, “last night I

could not sleep. Somehow I knew that you

would need bread this morning. I got up and

baked three batches for you. I will bring it in.”

Soon, there was another knock at the door. It

was the milkman. His cart had broken down

in front of the orphanage. The milk would

spoil by the time the wheel was fixed. He

asked George if he could use some free milk.

George smiled as the milkman brought in ten

large cans of milk. It was just enough for the

300 thirsty children.

6. The Spirit sanctifies.

7. The Spirit makes a person spiritually minded. 8. The Spirit produces inward conflict.

9. The Spirit makes a person love the brethren.

10. The Spirit teaches a person to pray.

These are the great marks of the Holy Spirit’s presence. Put the question to yourconscience and ask: Has the Spirit done anything of this kind for your soul? ~ J.C. Ryle

Richard McLaughlin is feeling heartbroken.

Richard McLaughlin is feeling heartbroken.

My son Alex who is 8yrs old is very poorly in hospital. He is currently in an induced coma due to having a large blood clot in the center of his brain which is starving multiple parts of his brain of oxygen and has a nasty infection that is so far resistant to mankinds most powerful antibiotics. He is due to have a lumber puncture done tomorrow where they remove spinal/brain fluid to try and find out what his infection is. He had a chest infection two weeks ago which turned into pneumonia, which the doctors believe caused the blood clot in his brain. The blood clot only came to light after multiple continuous seizures lasting 3 minutes a time and occurring every 5 minutes which left his left hand side paralyzed. Soon after, a CT scan was carried out finding the blood clot. At the same time this unknown infection has been attacking his body. As a result of everything that has happened, his lungs have stopped working so he is connected to a machine that is breathing for him. I feel helpless and heartbroken knowing there is nothing that I can do to help him other than be there for him. The pain I feel inside is indescribable. I don’t ever ask anybody of anything put if everybody could read/like/share this post and get as many people saying a little prayer for Alex I would appreciate it because he needs a miracle

The “Go” of ReconciliationBy Oswald Chambers
If you…remember that your brother has something against you… —Matthew 5:23
This verse says, “If you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you….” It is not saying, “If you search and find something because of your unbalanced sensitivity,” but, “If you…remember….” In other words, if something is brought to your conscious mind by the Spirit of God— “First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift” (Matthew 5:24). Never object to the intense sensitivity of the Spirit of God in you when He is instructing you down to the smallest detail.
“First be reconciled to your brother….” Our Lord’s directive is simple— “First be reconciled….” He says, in effect, “Go back the way you came— the way indicated to you by the conviction given to you at the altar; have an attitude in your mind and soul toward the person who has something against you that makes reconciliation as natural as breathing.” Jesus does not mention the other person— He says for you to go. It is not a matter of your rights. The true mark of the saint is that he can waive his own rights and obey the Lord Jesus.
“…and then come and offer your gift.” The process of reconciliation is clearly marked. First we have the heroic spirit of self-sacrifice, then the sudden restraint by the sensitivity of the Holy Spirit, and then we are stopped at the point of our conviction. This is followed by obedience to the Word of God, which builds an attitude or state of mind that places no blame on the one with whom you have been in the wrong. And finally there is the glad, simple, unhindered offering of your gift to God.

Streams in the Desert – September 26

We walk by faith, not by appearance (2 Cor. 5:7, RV).
By faith, not appearance; God never wants us to look at our feelings. Self may want us to; and Satan may want us to. But God wants us to face facts, not feelings; the facts of Christ and of His finished and perfect work for us.
When we face these precious facts, and believe them because God says they are facts, God will take care of our feelings.
God never gives feeling to enable us to trust Him; God never gives feeling to encourage us to trust Him; God never gives feeling to show that we have already and utterly trusted Him. God gives feeling only when He sees that we trust Him apart from all feeling, resting on His own Word, and on His own faithfulness to His promise. Never until then can the feeling (which is from God) possibly come; and God will give the feeling in such a measure and at such a time as His love sees best for the individual case.
We must choose between facing toward our feelings and facing toward God’s facts. Our feelings may be as uncertain as the sea or the shifting sands. God’s facts are as certain as the Rock of Ages, even Christ Himself, who is the same yesterday, today and forever.
“When darkness veils His lovely face

I rest on His unchanging grace;

In every high and stormy gale,

My anchor holds within the veil.”

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

This story is not over with!

Some details that most didn’t know have come to our attention.

In a Jubilee year, and ONLY in a Jubilee year, Rosh HaShanah does not end as a two-day feast. It’s extended out until the end of Yom Kippur, when a final trumpet is sounded, the “last trump.”

The constellation below the Revelation 12 sign continues to accurately show the ongoing story. Watch this for a thorough explanation by Scott Clarke. https://pmailletsvideos.wordpress.com/

It seems to me that this is a time of the separation of the sheep from the goats. Each behaving according to their respective natures.

Words to Ponder

A young mother named Kisagotami lost her first born son and when she was introduced to Buddha, she asked him whether there was any medicine to cure her dead son. Buddha replied to her, ‘I know some. I want a handful of mustard seed from a house where no son, husband, parent or slave has ever died.’ The young mother was naively deceived and went out to seek it from house to house, and finally came back to the Buddha with disappointment. Then Buddha asked her, ‘Have you procured?’ She replied, ‘I have not. The people of the village told me: ‘The living are few, the dead are many.” Buddha said to her with derision, ‘You thought that you alone had lost a son. The law of death is that among all living creatures, there is no permanence.’ — What a striking contrast between Buddha and Jesus who raised the son of the widow of Nain as recorded in Luke 7:11-17. Buddha only knew ‘the law of death’ and he himself was under the law and died miserably after an attack of dysentery. And before his death, he helplessly uttered these sad words, ‘Decay is inherent in all component things!’ In contrast, Jesus said, ‘I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me, shall never die’ (John 11:25,26) – Lit-Sen Chang (1904-96)
